Meet Keia R. Boyd
Hope and Healing Strategist
Reverend Keia R. Boyd is an Ordained Minister, Certified Social Worker, Healing & Hope Strategist, Grief Educator, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Counselor with over two decades of experience in the mental health, education, and community-based practice fields. She is the Founder of Keia R. Boyd Consulting LLC, a purpose-driven consulting firm specializing in grief education, social-emotional learning, and mental wellness, as well as the visionary behind Living Beyond and Graced for Grief, initiatives dedicated to healing-centered education and support.
Keia has worked extensively with students, educators, families, and community leaders to address the emotional impact of grief, trauma, and life transitions on learning, behavior, leadership, and overall well-being. She currently serves as a Social-Emotional Learning Specialist and Counselor, where she leads school-based mental health initiatives, delivers SEL instruction, supports crisis response, and implements behavior and community-building interventions. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-informed practices that promote emotional literacy, resilience, and adaptive coping.
Driven by both professional expertise and deeply personal lived experience, Reverend Boyd approaches grief not as something to “get over,” but as a human experience that must be understood, supported, and integrated into healing and growth. Through workshops, professional development, curriculum design, and community engagement, she empowers individuals and organizations to normalize healing, strengthen resilience, and create emotionally healthy, grief-aware environments where people can truly live beyond loss.
A sought-after conference facilitator, educator, and consultant, Reverend Boyd collaborates with schools, districts, faith-based institutions, and community organizations to build sustainable systems of care that honor grief, foster hope, and support long-term emotional wellness. Her work bridges education, faith, and emotional wellness, equipping others to heal, grow, and embrace life’s challenges with strength, grace, and purpose.
