Living Beyond: Graced to Live

Because of HIM Ministries was founded from a deeply personal place of loss, faith, and transformation. Following the unexpected death of her mother, Keia R. Boyd found herself broken, grieving, and unsure of how to live beyond such profound loss. What began as a painful season became the catalyst for a purpose-driven mission—creating safe, sacred spaces for healing, remembrance, and hope.

 

In 2022, out of that journey, the Living Beyond Life After Death Pre-Mother’s Day Brunch was birthed. Designed as an intentional gathering, the brunch offered individuals and families a place to honor loved ones, reflect on legacy, and begin healing together in community.

 

As the need for holistic, faith-centered support continued to grow, the vision expanded. In 2026, the brunch evolved into the Living Beyond Weekend Retreat: Graced for Grief—a multi-day experience focused on emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical wellness through worship, workshops, reflection, and fellowship.

 

The Living Beyond movement also includes an intergenerational focus through Girls Living Beyond: Crowned With Grace, a dedicated experience created to nurture confidence, identity, and healing for young girls, affirming that grace, resilience, and purpose can be cultivated early and carried forward.

 

At the heart of all we do is a simple truth: grief does not end love, and healing is possible. Through faith, compassion, and community, Because of HIM Ministries exists to walk alongside individuals and families as they learn to live beyond loss—with grace, strength, and renewed purpose.
